I left the hospital with a band-aid under my navel. I had my procedure done 6 weeks after I delivered my twins by c- section.
I think the person that said they do it from the inside was referring to when it is done during a c- section.

I have had a tubal ligation and don't worry as they use keyhole surgery. There are two incisions and one is in your naval and one in your bikini line or pubic line. One is for the camera and one is for the tool that holds the clip for the tube. Once you are done you will have a stitch in each place and when it's healed there is nothing to see. It's all invisible.

I have a small scar in side my belly button and one just above my pubic bone. They are very small and very faint.I had mine done a little over a year ago. the Incisions are very small to begin with, I only needed 2 stitches in each one,My Friend who had the same thing done by a different Dr had no stitches.so it depends on you and how your scar and your Dr and how big they make the incisions. Ether way though the scar if you do should be very small.

No scar- the procedure is a surgical one done on the inside.
