I know there's no age limit, but I have found more than 5 years causes a large communication gap. Just think of the generation you grew up in and the one he came from...big difference in upbringing, music, culture, politics, parenting, child rearing, etc., I could go on...
It might be easier to get along with someone closer to your own age, OR find somebody you understand no matter what the ages! Good Luck!

For the most part it's personal preference... as long as you're not getting in to legality issues. I know if you're under 18 years old, anyone over 4 years older than you can be prosecuted without knowledge or consent from either parties parents. I think that's right anyway. Other than that, it's all water under the bridge.

no age limit, everyone is different and every relationship is different.
you could have just as easily had a relationship full of misunderstandings with someone your own age.

Personal comfort is different for everyone.
What ever you're comfortable with is the answer.
Parents, friends and strangers may have other opinions but the bottom line is comfort and happiness.

I think that as long as both of you are legal. Then there could be no age limit.

You were incomparable and you probably would have been no matter the age. There are no age limits.
