Be grateful! Babies will wake up and let you know when they are hungry. There is no need to wake her at all. Enjoy the rest. She is obviously well fed, content and happy if she is able to sleep for long periods.

At 2 months, my son started sleeping from 11pm to 5am, and then from 5am to 9am. He would wake up for a bottle at 5am. It was great. We finally got some sleep! By the time he was four months he was sleeping through from 11pm to 7am. The doctor told me it was a sign of health and happiness.

Of course, it does mean she will be much more awake during the day - but I think that is a fair trade!

Provided she is eating well during the day (every two to three hours), and gaining weight properly, I wouldn't worry about it. Let her sleep - sleeping babies are growing and developing. By the time they are toddlers they will need about 12 hours of sleep a night (my son now sleeps from 830pm to 8am).

Good luck!

The only reason to wake her would be if she isnt gaining weight well. When is the last time you had her weighed? If it's been a few weeks, take her in again. If she's gained an acceptable amt, DONT wake her. Babies will wake when they are hungry. My arent you a lucky momma to have her sleep so well already!!

Edit: I disagree with waking a baby to change their diaper. I always put a nighttime or brand name diaper on my girl at night, without ever an issue. When she wakes to eat, you can change her if you'd like.

I think I would ask a doctor, and a couple of people who have had kids, even a day care center. My mom has a 7 month old, and my sister would sleep with her for the first 2-3 months when my mom slept, so I'm not sure, but if there seems to be nothing wrong then I'd say let your baby rest.

My LO had began to sleep for the duration of the night on his own at approximately 5 a million/2 months. Then only after he became 6 months he began with 2 night wakings. The long and the in need of it fairly is that there is a growth spurt notably plenty that factor, which in my case brought about him to wish greater milk. Then too, i began him on solids and he did no longer take as plenty milk for the duration of the day as a results of fact possibly the solids filled him. The meals at this age continues to be from the milk no longer the solids. basically, I gradually better his intake of milk for the duration of the day. His night wakings went all the way down to a minimum of one and now maximum nights he sleeps by using as quickly as back even although possibly as quickly as a week or so he could upward push up as quickly as for the duration of the night. undecided if this could paintings on your LO even though it fairly is nicely worth a try.

No, if she is gaining weight normally and is healthy you don't need to wake her up to feed. If she is hungry she will wake herself up and want to be fed, believe me she will let you know. Enjoy the chance to get some sleep!

Look into getting the book
What to expect the first year.
It's an excellent source of information that every mother should have.

In my opinion don't wake up you baby. Babies will wake when they are hungry. My son woke up every night for the first 5 months of his life to be fed. My daughter on the other hand started sleeping through the night at four weeks. The next morning she would defiantly let me know that she was hungry. If this is your first baby, I know how easy it is to worry that you baby may be hungry at night. Don't worry to much, she will let you know.

Why would you want to wake the baby up? Let her sleep. I was lucky my daughter slept straight through when we brought her home from hospital. First night her father woke me to ask if he should wake her...I told him that if he did he could do all the feedings after midnight from then on. He let her sleep.

No no no no noooo! You're so lucky you can actually get a decent night's sleep!!!

If your child is satisfied enough to sleep for so long, then let her sleep! She'll wake up when she's hungry/wet enough. Just go by her routine and what she wants right now, don't stick to a schedule by the clock.

No, don't wake up your baby. Be glad, feed your baby when she wakes up. Most people would love if their baby would sleep all night without having to get up middle of the night to feed. Goodluck =)
