My wife up and left me the other week and she is due in 2.5 weeks with our first child. After talking to friends and family, i went to her doctors office to speak with the doctor. Long story short, i ended up being arrested and charged. So now she has our baby, the dog, the house and all my stuff. I cant even get home to get my toothbrush and clothes. We just bought our first house last month as well. This is crazy!!!!!!! What should i do?

you need to stop breaking the law, so you don't get arrested again.

First of all I am sorry to hear about this terrible situation. I would see for a lawyer and sort out all the legal stuff . You have not mentioned why your wife left you!!! Have you done something that has hurt her feelings or is she just playing smart!!!??
May-be she has reached her goal and does not want a husband around the house now that she even a house. Was she different before you bought the house. You have already the answers to this unpleasant situation. However, you need to see immediately a good lawyer and I do hope that things will be all right for all of you.
Life is very diffcult for all of us whether we are rich, poor , beautiful or not but remember that this a test to see how you will be able to handle the situation. One thing I would like to say, when in the future you will be able to see you child please spea always good about your ex wife if this will be the case. When you need to discuss something don't lose your temper but seta time and place for the discussion. MAKE SURE THAT THE CHILD HAS LEFT THE HOUSE, WAIT FIVE MINUTES THAT HE/SHE LEAVES THE HOUSE AND THEN YOU CAN LET YOUR ANGER OUT. There are too many disturbed children in this world lets try to grow up your child as a wonderful healthy (especially mentally) person .
I am a womand but I must admit that there are women that I really don't understand their behaviour being so aggressive and not wanting to understand that when a child is born a child needs a fathere and a mother.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hire an attorney and have any and ALL contact with your ex, her family, docs, friends, attorney...anyone who has anything to do with her, go through that attorney. If not, you put yourself into a worse situation by getting arrested again. I know you are mad, anyone would be, but consider where you want to start from. The less you have to prove you are a good influence on the child, a good person etc, the better off you will end up as far as rights go.

You don't really give the "other side" of the story, do you? Did you do something to deserve being abandoned AND arrested!!?? It must have been something serious. In that case, you're screwed and I guess you get what you deserve.
If, however, you did nothing against the law/didn't hurt your wife in any way/etc, then contact a lawyer ASAP! Your wife is not allowed to file false accusations against you nor keep any of your joint property. You'd have to go to court and fight it out, I guess. Good luck!

You haven't given enough information as to why she has up and left you really. Why did you get arrested at the doctors? I'd be seeing a lawyer straight away as you have rights as much as your wife does. Has she left you due to angry outbursts or drinking? Then you need to sort these things out with her and think about rehab and marriage guidance therapy. Get legal advice.

Well I don't know what you did, but if you hit her while she was pregnant and was charged with it, then you got
what you deserved. You had a wife, a child on the way,
the dog, the house and all of it too, but you apparently made a bad choice. What do you think YOU should do about it?

See an attorney. There is a reason why you were arrested and charged, not just because you 'went to speak with the doctor'. And that was a MAJOR screw up because now you have a record and seem unfit to parent. You just gave her major leverage. See an attorney.

apologize for being the @sswhole that you proably are ,and then work to prove yourself to her.it was your own fault,whatever you did,,,was it worth it?what'd you do accuse her of being preg.with someone else's baby?offer no support?
