It's like they don't realize that they just said something so totally awful or they do realize but don't want to face it.

Yes I hate that! It totally urks the hell out of me!!! But sometimes I think some people are a bit too sensitive, like on jokes and riddles page some people are way too sensitive, but sometimes it can get ugly on this site.

You always know when someone starts out by saying "Don't take this personally, but"....It's going to be bad, and it always is something personal that is none of their business or else it is a criticism disguised as advice. Yes, I hate it.

It is painful sometimes, but at least they weren't totally rude about it. Like if a girl that you like tells you she just wants to be friends and it's nothing personal, it rips your guts out. But if she was really rude about it, it would really affect you more. At least they do try to be nice. Even though it sucks.
