They're the three biggest names in right-wing punditry. He's the king of talk radio, she's the queen of print journalism, and he's the king of cable news. What do you think of this controversial trio of conservative commentators? Do you like one and hate the others? Do you like them all or hate them all? Or, is it just simply unimportant to you? I want to know your thoughts, conservatives and liberals.

Dude, it's entertainment. They are entertainers. Nobody should care what they think. But I know many people take them seriously. Thats too bad.

Dear Leroy,

I don't care at all for punditry in general, whatever its political inclination. I hate Ann Coulter as much as Al Franken. Pundits contribute absolutely nothing to humanity. They do not try to uncover the truth but simply to spin current events into controversies for their own benefit. Their interpretations are deliberately hardline and provocative because pandering to people's lowest instincts pays handsomely, as demagogues the world over have always known.

The technique of pundits is so simple and invariable that it is a wonder that so many still have not seen through them. Pundits always portray themselves as lonely, persecuted prophets supposedly oppressed by variously sinister Powers That Be (the "liberal media", "the conservative machine", "the Godless establishment", etc). It's a very old trick. In reality, what they spout is hopelessly conformist, biased and emotional nonsense in which there is never any room for nuance, balance or honest analysis.

What bothers me the most is that most pundits claim to speak for an elusive lower-middle class ("the good, decent folks out there") which they could not possibly be further removed from. The three characters you've just mentioned are multi-millionnaires who in reality could not care less for the millions of poor people they claim to defend. They are world-class hypocrites.

Pundits do a great disservice to democracy. By deliberately framing debates around extreme ideological lines, they polarise society and marginalise the majority of moderate, reasonable people who believe in tolerance and common sense. By crying wolf so violently at the slightest occasion, they dilute the real issues at stake in the country and discredit the many honest people who have actually found real wolves but cannot be heard.

Pundits recklessly abuse the First Amendment to spew provocative nonsense. They gladly take all the privileges associated to freedom of speech but refuse to shoulder any of its responsibilities. I look forward to a day when the toxic influence of these parasites of democracy can be properly extinguished.

Hope this helped,

I like them all, though I like Rush less than the other two. Of course they think their opinions are the only ones that count, that's what they are paid to do. Do you think Al Franken thinks he's wrong? Of course not, he thinks his view is right also. The reason why they are so disliked is that they say things that a lot of other people are afraid to say, and that they don't adhere to the same liberal views as the rest of the media.

Did anyone check out the coverage on Election Night? The media was practically giddy as the Democrats were taking control of the Senate and the House. When Fox doesn't do that, or when Limbaugh, Coulter, and O'Reilly say that this will weaken the war on terror, then they are right-wingers, and their opinions are biased and without merit.

I think that people's dislike for these three shows that they are willing to believe anything the left-wing media tells them. Limbaugh, Coulter, and O'Reilly are a breath of fresh air.

Bush is the actual liar out of the entire gang. Anne Coulter and invoice O'Reilly actual have faith what they say, which makes them no longer "liars" yet extra alongside the lines of "retards". And Rush Limbaugh, nicely...hes in simple terms insane.

First, none of the three are conservatives.

Limbaugh is an admitted junkie, hypocrite and shill (liar) for the neo-con wing of the Republican Party. The only reason he's still on the air is that his show is distributed free to several hundred stations that can't afford to pay for decent programming.

Coulter is an obvious psychotic who will say anything for attention or a buck.

O'Reilly is a craven coward who hides behind children, throwing them up as shields to deflect arguments proving the absurdity and dangers of his agenda.

All three are master self-promoters (nothing wrong with that in itself) who have discovered that one can't help but prosper when pandering to the lowest common denominator.

All three are hypocrites that operate on the "do as I say, not as I do" principle.

Rush Limbaugh is a conceited pompous jerk whose only talent is becoming famous. Ann Coulter is an angry shreiking harpy who is obviously very bitter about something.

The only one of the three with any brains or talent is O'Reilly. He's a tenacious, hard working newsman - he's actually a REAL journalist, as opposed to whatever Limbaugh fancies himself to be. Do I take everything O'Reilly says at face value? Of course not. But of the three, the only one who comes CLOSE to the facts is O'Reilly.

O'Reilly is a newsman. Limbaugh and Coulter are cartoons.

They are less than important to me. But I must disagree that one is the king of talk, the queen of print or the king of cable. They are really just three people with big mouths and nothing much to say unless it is handed to them by the GOP. Any true Republican would do well to steer very clear of any and all of them.

I am for the most part a liberal. I don't care for any of the three. Not because I'm a liberal, because they all believe their opinions are the only ones that count and they don't have an open mind to other opinions. Their's is the only way.

Limbaugh is a drug addict, Coulter goes out of her way to say the most outrageous things possible, O'Reilly sexually harasses women. Typical conservative scum.
