if your spouse filed for divorce they have to serve you with papers, and they have to run ads in the local news paper for several weeks. and you should be able to go to a local or federal court house and they can check. or if you have a computer and you know what state the spouse is in you can check the local paper on line for that state city, or even check the court. but the court house should be able to help or even maybe ask legal aid in the state of Arizona for which ever city you are in it is a free service for most people. i helped dad with legal aid with his divorce of my step mother in Arizona. hope this will help.

oh i love az. just go to phoenix and they at the court houes should have your file on state computers there.
