my daughter, 11 months, is sick and i cant get her to a doctor till monday. it just a flu but it keeps her up at night, i believe its cause her stomach hurts too bad to sleep. i've been giving her infant tylenol to keep her fever down and pedialyte to keep her hydrated but she is tired and has trouble sleeping. any suggestions would be appreciated.

maybe try a warm bath. i would also call a doctor. there must be one on call or take her to an emergency room. you never know if she is running a fever it could be serious. after all a fever is the body's way of fighting off disease or infection. also just out of curiousity could she be teething?

I don't know where you're from so I don't know if youcan get this stuff. I live in Canada and we have something called Ovol it helps with gas and the like so you could try that or maybe just a warm compress would help. Also there's good old gripe water not that it does a whole lot for my baby but some people swear by it. Good luck

my daughter turned one today (happy birthday ariana) and she has gotten sick maybe 3 times already.......

i would say the best thing to do for the night (at least) is just put her to sleep on your chest......but since she has a fever make sure you put something in between yall like a pillow case or a really thin blanket...... so she wont get so much body heat and her temp wont go up............itll make it alot easier for you at night and she probably will be able to sleep better knowing you are right there next to her.

hope my advice will work for you and good luck

I bet the pedialyte is keeping her awake, that stuff keeps my son wide awake, not sure on sugar content, but it is high.

I agree with others, you should call doctor, watch & take temp (certainly call if over 100), and continue what u r doing.... hate that when they are sick.

You should give her te de canela (cinnamon) that will help her feel better. When my boyfriend got sick his mom told me to make him that and you can get it at any grocery store. Just look in the hispanic foods. Good Luck!

Can't you call a doctor? If she does not get any better tomorrow take her to the emergency room. With small babies you never know.

I know this may sound wrong but my mom did it for me and I am 100% healthy. If you have any hard liqure (rum, vodka etc...) just rub a VERY LITTLE bit of it on her gums. It wil at least help her sleep for a little while.
