Before you assume anything, I'm a 16 year old GUY :O Ok this is seriously worring me, I'm going to the doctor tomorrow but still. My leftnipple hurts whenever I touch it. And when I pinch the skin around my nipple, it hurts really bad and I THINK there's some lumpy thing in there but keep in mind that im kinda paranoid. My right nipple is just fine and doesnt hurt at all, its been like this for a week now, please dont tell me its cancer :(

Its my left one, and it isn't like squishy, I pinch that part of the skin and its like a semi hard thing that's thick and probably the size of a small pinky.

So its not cancer right? lol I was jusit getting worried, and plus I havent worked out in like 5 months now since I have so much school, a job and sat prep classes, cant fit any sports or excerise time in there :( I'm about 5'4" 126 pounds.

PLEASE see your doctor.

Men CAN get breast cancer - though it's rare.

Have a checkup with your doctor to be sure.

I wouldn't worry about cancer. Although breast cancer can occur in men it is very rare and considering your age it puts it way out of the realm of likelihood. I'm wondering is the nipple area a little swollen? If its swollen and tender (although you say its not squishy so that puts a little doubt in me) its most probably just an effect of puberty. Its termed gynecomastia I believe. It’s just an extra increase in breast tissue. I believe it can stay for as long as a couple years, sometimes shorter.

I went through it personally and if I remember correctly I had one nipple swell and hurt pretty bad for a while and the other nipple only did it for a short period of time with little swelling and pain so its not regular between the two nipples.

I seriously don’t think you should worry about cancer its very uncommon in that region at your age. Non-cancerous tumors or cysts are also less likely than the puberty thing. Nonetheless a doctor will do a far better job diagnosing your problem than anyone else on the internet. Good luck buddy.

Alright, as the person above me, PLEASE go see a doctor, as do so very fast. If it is cancer, don't worry, it is probably not deadly, it is a rare occurance that cancer, in a breast can kill.

It is possible that it may be cancer, but it may be other things, maybe, what you're feeling is a lump because durring sleep or durring the day you hit it, causing an internal bleeding(bruise) and making that hard. Thing is, who knows. Please though, for your own safety and end of paranoia, see a doctor IMMEDIATELY.

The doc will be able to sort you out.. I have had a breast cancer scare as i found a lump and it was sore but my doctor assured me that cancer lumps in the breast area do not hurt.. it is a silent killer so I very much doubt it to be breast cancer...
don't worry until there is need to.

that is reliable which you will the physician. I had a cyst on the "glands of Sir Bernard Law" and had to have it aspirated. THAT become painful, even though it mandatory to be achieved. The nipple is greater mushy than the different now, yet a minimum of I even have the coverage that i did no longer have maximum cancers. reliable good fortune.

I've had that but it went away in time over months. yes it improved and nothing further happened from it. so you go for a sonogram & X-ray and check it out. just to be safe.

i want to know if you bruised or hit your nipple somehow or other. what have you done to it???? Tell me.
