Start collapsing? I'd say about 9:58 in the morning one September day a few years past, although future historians will probably debate whether it was then, Bush's election, or the dot com bubble bursting.

When will there be no more America? Shortly after we run out of oil. I give you my stock answer about our future:

When the world runs out of oil, there will be a series of wars over who controls the last few drops, followed by total collapse of industries and technology that requires hydrocarbons. Riots break out at gas stations. The economy is destroyed. People starve in mass because the food is all grown in the midwest and there is no way to truck it to New York anymore. There isn't even enough petrol to power the combines to harvest it or the machines that make pesticides, so it rots in the fields while hungry rioters storm the white house. Our government hides from its people in NORAD and other survival facilities, but they run out of food down there and leave skeletons to fascinate future archaeologists. Like Egypt's pyramids.

Devastated by oil wars and famine, the developed world falls into chaos. Nuclear power plants and chemical waste silos are abandoned and start to leak. Global warming continues to devastate the planet for centuries before the carbon dioxide is reabsorbed. The radioactivity from our abandoned technology poisons our planet for millions of years.

Humans will survive, especially third world sustenance farmers well above current sea level, and technology will be rediscovered eventually. There will be no petrol and little coal to power an industrial revolution, but they could build solar panels and hydropower and advance that way. Perhaps people will be smarter this time.

Like it? I don't see how we can avoid it unless we develop a viable way to power our technology.

Where have you been the past several years? It's been on a steady slide downhill for decades. But, to those who are gleefully looking forward to that day, I wouldn't push too hard. Think about this...when people try to escape their corrupt government, where do they run to? When people need help fighting hunger & disease, who do they call on? There is a lot that's right with America, mainly its people. WIth the collapse of America, where would people turn to for help? Where would they be able to have a better life for themselves & their families? We might be a lot of things, but thousands of people still flock to our shores, in search of a better life. If things were indeed so bad here, I'd think they'd go somewhere else. <*)))><

Well technically if your talking about an economical fall like France is about to have, maybe 50-75 years. But I'm hoping once people start to realize that socialism doesn't work that it may be prevented. There are only 2 things you can count on people being and that is #1) Lazy and #2) Greedy so if you can't get ahead than why work at all. I hope that answers your question.

About another 30 years. It will collapse under the weight of debt and the economic growth of China. The americans will be impoverished and this will lead to civil unrest and the break up of the union.

It was a big setback for America and Freedom, when the Democrats took over Congress.
But we have survived the pinko freaks before, and we'll survive this time, too.

It's not collapsing. Change and political shake up is necessary in a democracy.

The minute unrighteous leadership- in particular judges- thought it was a grand idea to expunge God from the public arena, especially in the public school system, where America's youth are deprived of truth and are force-fed the lies of atheism and Darwin's evolution.
