What do you need to know about indoor soccer? You need to be a little more specific in what you want to know. Thanks!

Addendum: Well since you weren't specific and others have provided you with some basics on indoor soccer let me add some things that haven't been touched on. The clock never stops, unlike outdoor soccer when you want to "sub" a player, you just do it in indoor soccer. You can play with as little as 4 players but you can play with more than 4 on the field. And there are no off-sides as in outdoor soccer, which works really well for players who tend to forget about being off-sides in outdoor soccer.

It is faster, more exhausting but players seem to enjoy it more, especially the kids. And if you are an avid soccer player this is great for year round. I know some kids that play traveling and indoor soccer (they use to play recreational outdoor but moved into traveling). My daughter one year played basically year round....outdoor soccer (early fall), indoor soccer for several sessions, right after the last indoor game went straight into spring soccer which went straight into fall soccer (practices starting in early July 3 times a week), then after fall soccer she continued with 3 times a week practicing because they went to the State tournament. It was great, kept her busy, kept her in shape and she was able to keep her school grades up. And this year she is doing the whole thing all over again (minus the State tournament).

If you haven't tried indoor soccer and you love soccer, you should give it a try.

well I have played indoor soccer before and it is pretty weird if you. You can do things like pass against the wall if you do not have a teammate open, it is called a wall pass. most of the time when you are playing indoor soccer you will be playing inside a gym like a basketball court. Oh and do not forget to be careful. I was so aggressive for the wall after I bumped somebody I ran into the metal door head first. luckily I had no concusion or injury. Do not forget that you have a lot of running to help your teammates because the number of players is not as big. make sure that when you play indoor soccer you wear basketball shoes. those are the best to wear indoors.

Indoor soccer is faster, higher scoring, has fewer players, smaller goals, and no throw-ins, corner kicks, etc. It is fun and there are a lot more touches on the ball for most of the players.

Banking the ball off the wall is an interesting skill that players develop that is never used in regular, outdoor soccer.

That it's one of the funnest things in the world! I played soccer since I was very little and my team did winter indoor a couple years in middle and high school. It's a really fast-paced game, there isn't "regular" out-of-bounds, but there's a net about 5 feet off the ground where the wall ends (at least where I played it) and if the wall goes above the wall and touches the net, it's out. There are no throw-ins, a player from the team who didn't kick the ball out kicks the ball on the ground below where the ball went out. The goalie cannot drop kick, they have to throw or roll the ball out to their teammates. The players on the field use the walls by kicking the ball against them and the ball comes back, like a player kicked it to them. Lots of players use the walls once they get more comfortable with them to fake out the other team, like they kick the ball into the ball at an angle and the opposing player runs in to get the ball but the other player runs around the back of them and receives the ball from the wall. Using the wall in indoor is really all about angles and how hard you kick the ball, whatever angle you kick the ball at, it will return just as hard as you kicked it and the opposite of whatever angle you kicked it at. Sounds confusing but EX: if you kick the ball really hard and sort of off to the left, then the ball will come back equally as hard but to the right. Subs (substitutions) aren't like they are in outdoor, instead of having to wait until the play is over, players run on and off of the field whenever someone in their position needs a break (which is often because of how fast-paced indoor is). And half-time is much shorter than outdoor, at the place I played indoor we got about 30-50 seconds during half time. Indoor is super fun and if you're considering playing it you definitely should!

Indoor soccer, indoor football or mini football is a game derived from association football adapted for play in an indoor arena such as a turf-covered ice hockey arena or skating rink. Despite the term "indoor soccer", it is also used to describe the game played on such fields which are built outdoors. Moreover if you want to be Soccer player in Australia,Please visit our website http://bit.ly/1r1v6oA

I personally prefer outdoor but indoor is basically the se but also totally different. The fields are usually smaller and the game moves a lot faster. Also people take advantage of the wall and will kick it "out" but it will bounce of the wall right back to them and that always messes me up a bit. The goal is also smaller .

You play soccer on solid ground wearing tennis shoes and there are walls you can pass to. At least in AYSO region 2.
