The sky is just a layer surrounding the earth, so I guess spherical is right. I've never really thought about it. But if you see pictures from space, you can see the sky is just the same shape as the earth..

well our atmosphere is in a ball around the earth, if thats what you mean, otherwise the sky as in space has no given shape that we can determine so far.

There is no real shape. It looks like half a sphere from horizon to horizon. But if you dont take the horizon into consideration the sky just looks like it goes on and on.

It is round. Stand in one place and turn all the way around. The edge of the sky goes all the way around, so it must be a circle.
