I'm a certificated college teacher in China. Are there any colleges need a native Chinese teacher? Is it possible for me to teach in the States? If yes, then how?

You can check the local classifieds in or around your area, the local Dept. of Labor, call the schools or colleges in your area, or even check the computer for teacher sites they may have information on how to find out.You might need to find out if the US will accept a Chinese college certification. If nothing else you could teach out of your house like some type of homeschool teacher.

I think many many people would like to do this and I can understand why. Good luck with your visa. Teaching chinese in the States isn't like teaching english in china.

I don't know how you can teach Chinese in the US. I do know I'd take your class. I understand it's the hardest language to read and write. There are so many dialects. I understand there are thousands of characters. 5000? Plus you have to draw each one. I have no artistic abilities. It sounds like fun though. Who knows, I might actually need it someday.
