Not much you can do unless you are in a union. And then some unions dont do much anyway. I was fired after I broke my back and was unable to do my job. I was told in the state of WI employers dont need a reason to fire anyone if they want you gone, your history. There is no such thing as a secure job anymore it seem like everyone is just a number because thing are getting tighter in bussiness, bussiness are doing what they can to stay ahead of the game. Only thing I can suggest is get a different job some where else.

Depends. Id say forget about it and find another. Of course if you need this job or just have to know then go ask management directly. If they wont see you go into the office and ask strait out why you were fired. Make sure its not prejudice or bias or something. Might as well, have nothing to loose.

Write a letter, ask an ex-coworker to ask then tell you, ask when you pick up your last check. If you really want to know, just ask. It may be a hard thing to do, but I promise that you will find out.

You might also try to apply for unemployment - if you were not fired for cause, you may be eligible for benefits. At the very least, the employer will have to give a reason for your dismissal.

If you are fired, means you are a worker, just feel confident but not arrogant, find another job which suit you best as well as you are useful for your new employer, if not, you must be the boss of your own, then you can fire your workers if they can not make you, make more money.

This is not uncommon. These days employers do this more and more.
A lot of places have a 90 day probationary period and can let you go for no reason. It is their discretion and a lot of them use it.

I'd say, blow it off, move on and hunt another job.

You should have a friend call him to confirm your employment with them from date a to date b. Then ask if they would rehire you. Then ask if there were any problems or concerns they want to share.
