Am I the only one fed up with people asking over and over: "Can someone give me [insert Indian cricketer here]'s email/phone details?
As if people!! Which famous celebrities would want their email given out to hordes of internet stalkers?
Is there no way to stop people asking these inane questions over and over again?

I reckon that there should be a new button on messages "Vote2delete" - people Level 2 and above can press the button if they think the posting is a waste of space and effort. If more than - say - 5 people vote to delete, it is pulled.

I guess you could also say "if the question scores a total of -5 or lower it gets deleted" instead.

Why level 2? Well folks who reach level 2 have shown SOME sort of interested in taking part - rather than just asking questions until they run out of points - and then just create a new profile.

These posts ARE irritating - as are the "I really like this boy at school but he doesn't seem interested in me" type questions. However I guess we should accept the fact that when a facility like Y!A appeals to folks from 7 to 77, there IS going to be a degree of tolerance needed for all folks to be able to enjoy it.

LOL - the daft things is, if you know how to go about it, I would say 80%+ of celebreties in the UK are NOT difficult to locate but the idea of posting the address of someone online is frightening, too many obesessives and it could all get REALLY freaky.

If fans want to write to the agent of a celeb then a little googling with search terms along the lines of:-

celebnameinquestion agent
celbenameinquestion manager

Will usually bring up results.

I think it's high time we need moderators of some kind as in forums.

Well, in a word, no.

Same reason we can't stop ars'oles asking 'questions' like: 'What's your favourite colour?'
