So... I got to ask you... what you think about my situation...
I'm shopping with my roomates... one roomy wants to stay and shop at Walmart and my other roomies are going to the store next door ... so I figure what the heck, I'll shop with the one going to Walmart... I like her more plus then she wouldn't be the only one of us at walmart...
We get done shopping faster than the other two... So we are headed to the store next door.. I say " hey, you go in and get the keys from Jen, so we can put the stuff in the car and then we will go shopping there really quick... but don't just leave me hanging out here" ... So I wait... she dosen't come out ... I wait some more... she comes out behind the other two roomies with groceries in hand...
At this point I'm ticked off... I'm all like " What the heck ... I told you specificly not to do that"
And she is all like ohhh... I'm sorry I didn't think it would take that long...
I'm all like Grrr...
So tell me Am I wrong to be upsett?

i think thats ok if you feel upset especially when you've told them to shop quickly but in the end they said sorry as if they were innocent, thats pretty selfish but there is nothing you can do i mean thats natural in friendship so just take it easy ... life is hard, dont make it harder :p

No not really, i understand what you were feeling. she did the one thing that you asked her not to. But you shouldnt waste energy on being mad over something so trivial. you wont even remember this situation in like a month but if you let yourself become... overly angry, then it could escalate the situation.
and another point, which this is something that everyone does, people figure that the world revolves around themselves. remember that just because you are experiencing a situation doesnt mean you are the only person on the planet experiencing a situation. your friends inside kept on living despite you being outside. just as you kept on living despite them being inside. always remember there are other view points then your own and try to put yourself in that other viewpoint.
just think, what if one of your friends were angry with you for not going in? you know the reasons why you stayed outside, and they were good reasons. and i'm sure your friend really didnt think it would take that long. if it hadnt taken that long and she came right back, but with the other two in front of her, would you still be upset. it might have only seemed like a long time to you, but not to them.

In all honesty, you sound a little bossy, and a lot like a control freak.
After all, you seemed to be the one giving all the orders.
"get the keys", "put the stuff in the car" "don't leave me hanging
around out here".. DAAAA!
I'm not surprised she decided to shop instead.
NO, you have no right being angry.
And why didn't you just go in the store too, after she hadn't returned in your timing..
You really need to be less dramatic about life..

I'm thinking there is a dynamic here that you are not mentioning, perhaps you are a little insecure about your friends and friendships. Sounds to me like you just lost track of your friends for a little bit. Your a big girl and you could have gone to them. Sounds like you should have gone to them. These are your friends. Cut them a little slack.

Its not wrong to be upset but you do seem to be blowing the situation WAAY out of proportion.
These things happen...spouses, kids, parents and friends do this little thing called "spacing"....no one's perfect.
Get over it and move on.

Your friend was inconsiderate, but probably not intentionally so. Don't let such a small thing come between you two. Forgive, forget, and move on. Hope you work it out!

No your not wrong but at this point being upset now is pointless.
The next time don't trust her to do what she says she's going to do.
