work rights void or manager in the wrong? i was l8 to work (45min) due to misread shift and shift was taken?

i am wondering if they any right to tell me i couldnt work? i know it was my mistake i was late, but isn't it my right to work within the whole 4 hours???

You have no "right to work".. If you are late a couple of more times they will prove it to you permanently.
