I am due in March and expecting my first child(a boy) and plan on naming him Jadrien Aren. I have had this name picked out since I first found out I was pregnant. I am just curious what everyone thinks, but I love it either way.

I got Jadrien out of a baby book I purchased and it says it is only a boys name, and Aren means eagle in several languages.

The name is OK. My cousin just named his son "Kennedy', which I thought was a nice name. In my opinion Jadrien may sound somewhat feminine. My opinion only! You may not like my answer, but you asked.

Not crazy about it - I don't really care for names that sound like 2/3 other names thrown together...

Jayson/Adrienne... Jadrien

Names like that don't feel/sound special to me they sound indecisive... last minute and complicated. Have you been around a class of 3-6 year olds lately? The plethora of *unique* names is ridiculous...

But I also believe you should name your child what you want - sorry I couldn't be more supportive.

I don't like it, but then again I don't like most of the "new, modern" names with crazy spellings and all. When your child is grown, he will be just one in a sea of mundane, overused names. I much prefer strong, classic names (Ryan, Mark, *Paul* hehe). That said... who the heck cares what I say? If you like it, go for it... good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! Don't eat too much peanut butter and pickle sandwiches :)

Sorry to say it, but that name makes your expected son sound like a she-man.

It's unique. I'll be honest, at first I didn't like it. But the more I say it, the more I like it. Congratulations!
