they only get married there and are there for like one day-they dont live there and they aren't entitiled to any land -plus they aren't famous catsles-they are beat up castles-why dont they marry in windosr castle or buckingham palace?

Because they feel that they are ENTITLED to spend those oodles of cash that they get for doing NOTHING and feel that they ARE royalty ....
Did you also notice that Celebrities don't have much common sense or intelligence either -- and even though they can't put a sentence together (or a coherent thought), they still spout off with nuttiness at the drop of a hat.
BUT ... once the surface looks are gone -- then how will they live -- they have NO useable skills!
Someday, somehow ... they will wake up to the reality that they are NOT better than the rest of the world -- and I look forward to that happening .. it may not be soon (because the media seems to think that we 'like' being force-fed this dribble ... but sooner or later media will learn ... NO ONE CARES about celebrities!

In a wierd sort of way they are royalty. American Royalty though. I say that because royals are put on petalstools and are supposed to be better than regular people. So maybe thats why some not all get married in castles. Its not my view, its just a theory. Hope it helps to answer your question!

I would say it had something to do with security reasons. Plus, who wouldn't want to get married in a castle? Kinda like the whole fairytale wedding thing.
Perhaps, we shouldn't be so cynical, be happy for people who are happy :~)
P.S. i waited to read the other "answers", until I posted mine, and after doing so, it is so funny how people get so jealous of people who are successful, does not matter what they do. No, Tom Cruise didn't make his movie company any money, or his agent wealthy, or his manager, or his hair dresser, or the car salesman who sold him his expensive car(s), or the extensive people that work on each and every one of his movie sets. I could go on, and on, and on; but I won't. I'll just say, don't be pissed because Tom & Katie have enough money to buy their own island, (that has a castle on it no less,) just to get married in. just get off your duff, and make a sucess of your own, instead of critizing others who capitalize on their talents!
