My boss had a bad experience at the Mandalay Bay in Vegas and got a comped room out of it. I'm going out there this weekend and he offered it to me. All I have is a letter with his name on it. He said to tell them I was booking the room for him and to give them my credit card info for the deposit...anyone know if this would work?

As a person who gets comp rooms, it will not work. Usually, the person the room is comped to has to be present to check you in.

It will not work...they ask for photo ID when you check in. They won't give you a key
