wow, how many times I have heard that PS3 is not even a glorified 360. I have heard some say 360 use HD-DVD's and PS3 is about the same with Blue ray. Wow. 360's use DVD'S and the PS3 is going to absolutely dominate the console market after a few months of catch up. I bought one after waiting in line for 3 days. I have a nice TV so I can see the full glory of PS3... Launch titles generally are bad, but these are actually ok. when GRAW2 comes out for PS3 I may just stop breathing. I have played the wii and I own a 360. the wii sucks and seems geared toward little kids. The 360 is awesome except it freezes, overheats, lights of death, supports 1080P finally but no HDMI cable is made. The graphics are pretty good but the PS3 will be better in a few months. Look at king kong for 360-.it alone made me wait almost 9 months to get one because the graphics were so lame. I held out for GRAW and now Splinter cell. sony has won. thank goodness they didnt blow it. stylish, and powerful.

They probably dont mainly because they think that 360 is the greatest thing since halo but they fail to realize that sony has prepared and knows what they can do to catch up. Even if people are say sony wont catch up they will because no. 360 isnt in that much of a lead, ps3 is obviously the better system, it integrates the wiimote aspect of the wii and has the graphical aspect of the 360 that is better, introduces a new format, and even more so its from SONY the leading electronics thingy. Enough said

It took them a year, and even so...the games take forever to load. I am sorrowful. But I do like my PSP AND my 360. But honestly, for the price, 360 is better. It's proven. And there'll be more of them this season anyway. People are paying two grand for a PS3---friggin idiots. Blow your wad. I'm out. No thanks.

I do have to agree - Sony finally put together a decent system.
It's nice to see, since the last couple of technologies from Sony (BetaMax, Mini-disc, SACD, to name a few) have failed miserably.
Why they didn't integrate HDMI, with no picture loss and all-digital signal baffles me. Probably because they'd have to pay licensing to Silicon Image for using the HDMI technology - something Sony hates doing - paying someone else for technology - even if it is better.
