ok, its like celebrities wear it all the time its like a big rope that goes over the head and the baby sits infront ..any ideas?? and its not like a thing you buy at wal-mart..its what africans use for their infants...

It's called a baby sling - supposed to be really handy. Couldn't find one when I had mine - it's not a rope, but a large piece of cloth.

If it goes over both shoulders like a back pack, it is a snuggly (that's actually the brand name) and if it goes over only one shoulder, it is a baby sling (messenger bag style.)

i think of you're talking a pair of sleep positioner. They sell them at aim and infants R Us. you are able to oftentimes place them on the mattress for the toddler to sleep in so as that they stay in one place and you dont by twist of destiny roll over onto them.

My mom had something like that and she called it a snuggly... don't think that's the correct name for it though.
