If you missed your period that is a sign of pregnancy. However 5 weeks is a little soon to tell. Some woman, don't have a regular or consistent schedule and sometimes our bodies are unpredictable for no reason... can you take a test??
A hard stomach could be a number of things like IBS or Kidney Stones but most likely not pregnancy... I suggest you see a doc sooner rather than later especially if you start to feel any discomfort or cannot go potty.

First off, if you are 5 weeks than no your stomach is not supposed to be hard. Second, have you took a pregnancy test or gone to the doctors to get tested? You won't know by just the way your stomach feels. Go get tested.

No. Only 5 weeks into pregnancy, would not cause your stomach to be hard. Tension, however would.
To allay your fears, get a home pregnancy test.
Just worrying can cause a delay in your cycle and sometimes even skip a period entirely. It's very common.
The signs at 5 weeks vary from woman to woman and are usually very subtle.
Tenderness in the breasts
Nausea/vomitting
Strange food cravings
Dizziness
The swelling in your abdomen would be slight and soft unless you have gas.
Again, get an over the counter pregnancy test like "First Respose". They are all very reliable.
Good luck, sweet pea. I hope you get the response that you want. Don't delay. The "Not Knowing", can be unbearable.

If you have a pretty reg. period (ex.every 28 days etc.) and you are late then the is a possibility that you might be pregnant BUT your stomach would not be hard if you are 5 weeks because if you were pregnant your baby would be about the size of a sesame seed. The only way to find out for sure is to go and get a test or you can go to your local health department most offer free pregnancy test and they are confidential

If you think you're just 5 weeks along, then your stomach shouldn't be hard at all. Number one thing you should do if you think you're pregnant is get tested. If you're worried because you are late and are having abnormal stomach problems, Go To A Doctor Immediately!! I had two friends with problems recently: one had ovarian cancer and the other had a hernia. It's important to get checked out.
