Your qualifications for "greatest man on Earth" are playing with snakes, rolling around in the mud with crocodiles and speaking with an accent you think is cute? That's just sad!

i think he was a great man who did a lot of things to educate people about animals and the environment. he saved hundreds of lives, and his work is still effecting the world. he did so much in his short lifetime, its unfortunate to think all of the other things that could have been done.

by the way, i am a hardcore animal activist and member of peta, i dont care what they have to say about him. he never harmed and animal, and always did whatever he could to save them and keep them safe, he was a great man, that lived for the animals until his last moments of life

"Greatest man on Earth" is a little weighty for a guy who dedicated his life to harassing animals and filming it to make money. I have nothing against him, but I'm sure there are plenty of more worthy cantidates for the title.

He was a great man....not only did he bring the need for conservation to the attention of the public....he also donated his time and a great deal of money to his passion....saving wildlife, and helping people understand that need. He is sadly missed.

I dont think so. He was an amazing individual who strived for a noble cause such as wildlife conservation, but I believe many men have done better.

I don't. His reckless antics left his two kids without a father.
