They will not tell your parents. You can tell them not to call your house or if they do to use a fake name so that your parents do not find out. You can go alone. Since you are under 18, I believe that it will be free for you or extremely cheap.
If you are a virgin, you might get to skip the physical exam. If you are not, you'll get a vaginal exam done and a PAP smear and possibly a pregnancy test. If you ask, they can do STI testing as well. Good luck.

Definitely go. You are making a responsible decision.
They will not tell your parents. You can go alone, or if you want to bring a friend, that's fine.
The people are in the business to help young women; they will be nice and kind, and let you know all your options.
You may want something like depo-provera (an injection every 3 months) if you are worried about your parents finding the pill, or worried that you won't take it regularly. If you get the shot, you just have to go to the dr. (maybe even the planned parenthood clinic) once every 3 months.

No they can't tell your parents, they have to respect your privacy. I'm SOOOOO GLAD you asked this!!!
at least you are thinking straight!!!!
I'm not sure what it costs to go on birth control anymore- it's been a while since I was on it- But you can be assured that it is WAY less expensive that raising a baby. So do what you can to afford it!!!
They will give you a check up. and ask some questions about your medical history no biggy.

Planned Parenthood provides reproductive health care services that include information, contraception, testing, and counseling on a full range of options to women, men, and teens across the country. Planned Parenthood's policy is to protect client confidentiality to the extent the law allows.
Be honest with health care providers so they can get an accurate picture of your health and needs. It can help clinicians determine if it's a good idea to test for sexually transmitted infections, prescribe birth control, or offer counseling for problematic sexual relationships.
Planned Parenthood health centers strive to provide services that are confidential and affordable, especially for teens. But for one reason or another, health care providers in certain locations may not be able to guarantee complete confidentiality. To find out about the Planned Parenthood health center near you, call 1-800-230-PLAN.
You have a few options. Most state and county clinics and hospitals offer testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) at no cost or low cost. In addition, all Planned Parenthood health centers are committed to providing services at the lowest possible cost. Many centers offer services on a sliding scale.
To find out about costs for STI testing at Planned Parenthood health centers, call 1-800-230-PLAN. Your call will automatically be connected to the Planned Parenthood health center nearest you. When you call for an appointment, be honest with the staff about your financial situation and find out about available payment options.
Most sexually transmitted infections can be easily treated, but can cause serious health problems if left untreated, so it's very important to be tested by a health care provider.

if you are thinking of having sex. yes do take birth control. go to the clinic. its free or it cost barely nothing. they keep everything confidential. you can go alone. birth control can cost 10 to 40 dollars. talk to the doctor and tell them you need something that is not so expensive. and do not get the shot. you gain way to much weight on it. good luck and you are doing the right thing

It's free if you're under 19 or under 23 and a full time student. Just remember it takes about 3 months for the birth control to start working effectively, so don't go out and get all creamed up as soon as you start taking it, or you'll undoubtedly wind up pregnant.
