As a part of an assignment on "Negotiations" , I and my team are researching on the work practices, culture, thinking style of Brazilians.

If you have every worked at Brazil or have any induction documents that would give me a preview about the working style in the country, could you please provide me with that inputs.Any inputs/help on it, will be appreciated.

To add:
Brazil is a big country and each city has it's style:.
In Sao Paulo, thats where all the business is made.
The people are serious and work hard . At the Airport, the preople are in SUITS.

In Rio, it's very laid back, and people love going to the beaches.

As a Foreigner, you are expected to be on time for work, but the Brazilians can be late.
Please learn BASIC Portuguese, and dont speak Spanish.
Or ask permission first and excuse yourself .

Brazilians enjoy parties, they start at 10 and you are expected to go and join, and don't be late for work.

Brazilians love Children , so they often take them to restaurants.

The well off enjoy their clubs. (Sports and social)
