In the physical sense, it has not as it is a sphere.
In a time frame...
Our world began with the first sign of life.
And it will die when something in the Universe collide with it.
In the meantime, humanity will be wiped out by one thing or another, pretty much like the dinausors.
And another race will be born after that. Not necessarily human but an improvement on us... humans who could not get it right.
For the believers...
GOD did stuff up twice.
Hopefully, he'll get it right the third time.

this is what the bible says, which I would agree with. Althouggh therir are many people who choose not to believe. If that were myself my answer would be the world within you begins at bith and ends at death. This could very easily used as an answer.
