I just recently bought a laptop. I just tried to send an email. The email is sitting in the outbox in Outlook. What do I do?

if you are connected to the internet, then select send and receive messages to send the messages in your inbox and receive the messages from your inbox.

You need to setup a POP account which requires that you have an email address somewhere.
Also you will need to specify the SMTP server to send the mail outgoing.

first: were you online when you tried to send the email?
second did you configure correctly outlook? you need a regular email to be able to pair it with outlook.

That's not supposed to be right. But if you want an alternative, you could use Thunderbird, or web-based e-mail.
