Well its too early to get one , and if you gettig a permanent one , more or less you are gonna regret it in future.
But with a tatoo at 14 , youll certainly be out of friends of your age.

Its your life and you are free to choose wotever you want , well dont hate your parents if they dont support you on this , no parent will .And its for the best, a tatoo so young might not exactly get you into good company.

:)

first of all it's tattoo... i'm 16 btw... i don't think you should do it tattoos are permanent and your parents will probably eventually find out...you can't hide forever. also it's illegal for a minor to get a tattoo without parental consent so whoever does it can get in a lot of trouble too... wait until you are older then make your own choice. I'm not against tattoos, but I don't think it's worth it. You're 14 and whatever seems cool now may change a lot when you're older and more mature. So I think you should wait until you're 18. :) good luck

Well, if I saw a 14 year old girl with a tatoo, first I would think "What kind of 14 year old girl gets a tatoo?" then I would think "She should have waited a while, she'll probably regret that in the future"
that's what I would think.
Hope this helps!!!

wait a couple of years and then you might not regret our decision as much when you are old and gray
if it is very small and in a not so noticable place then maybe at 21 or 22 but if its bigger wait till your late thirties and chances are youll have opted not to get 1
i feel it inappropriate for a 14 year old or any1 under 21 to get a tatoo
it is totally bissare as to why you want 1 in the first place if you are that young

I think it depends on the person and the maturity level and the tastefulness of the tattoo. When my friends little sister was 14 she got a tattoo, a star on her shoulder bone. I thought it was cute! She was a very mature 14 so I guess I didn't see her as a little girl and maybe that is why I was ok with it. If I saw a 14 year old with a tattoo I really wouldn't think anything bad of the person because after all, you can't judge a book by its cover.

Well if it is not a homemade tattoo, I'd be looking at her parents.

It is against that law to get a tattoo under the age of 18, most tattoo shops won't even allow you in if you are under 18 unless you are accomplanied by an adult.

I got mine when I was 23 so I was old enough to know what I as doing and thought about it alot and I still regret it now. I think no matter what there will be a point in your life when you will start hating it...

depends...are you the 14 year old girl? I let my boyfriend put a "bootleg" tatoo on me when I was 14, and later had to get it convered up, then even later regretted that I ever did it at all! So I think it's kind of a bad idea, cause you'll probably regret it later!

Generally speaking, I'd say it's a sad, sad story. I'd never let my fourteen year old daughter get a tattoo... and if you want my honest opinion, I don't think fourteen year olds are mature enough to make such a huge decision. However, every person is different, so who am I to judge?

Were the girls parents informed before the tattoo was got? As long as the parents gave consent it is no one else's business. Does this 14 yr old like that tat?
