seriously:
Waits, Dylan, Zevon, Cave
Think about it.

I would say yes, now. Before 2001, i would've said Dave Matthews, but his writing has gotten so bad its not even distinguishable as Dave Matthews Band music. Overproduced, chopped, and slopped.

Tom Waits is a great songwriter, and, although i cant much listen to his music because of his voice, I really love the writing he does.

I love Tom's music, but, my heart and soul belongs to Bob Dylan.
