The whole Lana and Lex thing is getting to be too much like something from a soap opera. Last weeks episode was completely focused on them, her boo-hooing over missing him (which was acted out horribly if I may say so) her stupid pregnancy, and him suddenly asking her to marry him. Is anyone else tired of them, and would like this lana-lex madness to stop besides me?! Am I the only one who feels they are destroying the show with the two of them?

And the Clark/Lana thing wasn't??? It got so boring seeing the Clana puppy love thing week after week....Lexana will save the show in the long run and build up the Clark/Lex rivalry so we finally see some good episodes for once! You must be a Clana fan!!

I'll take a little soap opera over the 'Meteor freak of the week' that was season one.
As to the pregnancy, who's to say its really Lex's, so far as we know in the time line of the series it hasn't been that long since Clark and Lana were together, especially if they hooked up after Jonathan's Funeral, as she was by his side in the cemetery.
I may be the only one, but I think Lex has had his eye on Lana to some extent since season one(although it would have been Criminal to act on it at the time) He knew Clark would screw it up eventually, and he was setting himself up to catch her when they split.

As a former comic book reader I can barely stand the show anymore. I want some more characters from the comic to show up. remember Superboy was involved with the legion of superheroes when he still lived in smallville. As for Lana and lex, they deserve each other. At least Clark stopped mooning over Lana.

In order for the show to move forward Lana needs to die. That will be a turning point for both Clark and Lex. Clark to break his ties with Smallville and Lex to become more evil.

YES i use to love smallville b4 they started getting into all this stuff....u no that something happenes to the baby because in super man lex luther does not have a child OR a wife...i watch that show alot and use to like it. it is gettin a lil too "soap operish" like u said...and they need to get over this b/c i thought smallville was about SUPERMAN not lex and lana!!

it was annoying bc i wanted more on what was going on with clark in that episode but that tends to happen when the writters are gettingsompped on where to go with the story
