yeah, i have the mary kay soothing eye gel stuff, but it doesn't seem to work all that well :/
i read in cosmo girl that a model used a product with caffeine in it...does anyone know if those kinds of products work? if so, which ones are best? oh yeah, and for MAC, i don't know where they sell that, cuz all i have is Mary Kay that my mom buys for me :/

by the way, thanks for the responses! I'm going to try different products:)

MAC makeup makes a good cream based product, its basically a base that u apply, and it then you put you eyeshadow on over it. it keeps you eyeshadow from caking up, and it from fading. As for the puffyness under the eyes, use preparation H.

to make your makeup stay on longer...try setting it with powder (pressed or loose). A great way to get the puffy out...have you seen one of those gel masks that you put in the freezer?...try one of those. They're very invigorating and make you look more refreshed. Umm...but Mary Kay's Indulge Soothing Eye Gel does the trick as well (sells for $15 and is worth every penny)!

This might sound silly but if you keep two spoons in the fridge overnight and place them over your eyes in the morning it helps with the puffiness, as for make up staying on all day you might want to put a primer on first or honestly just use a better kind of makeup. ( and I know this is also silly sounding but you might want to use less eyeshadow, it won't cake off as much )

Use MAC make-up, they have really good eyeshadow with a base cream underneath to help it stay on. Their make-up is a bit pricey but well worth it. As for the puffy eyes I usually wet q-tips and freeze them and then gently rub them around the puffy areas. Good luck!

Use a base under your make-up. MAC or smashbox work well, but I'm sure you can find something at your local drug store. I like Avon's clinical eye lift to reduce puffiness....or do as the models do...use preperation H!

i heard that if you make sure to use pressed powder under your eyeshadow it helps it stay on longer... i use a really sparkly cream eyeshadow in a neutral color under my eyeshadow to keep it on longer and the colors really pop.

i used this ponds eye gel for my puffy eyes and i did exactly what the directions said but for some reason i got chapped around my eyes... so be careful with that stuff..

Before U try to put on your eye make up, dust your eyelids with baby powder to give it a matty feel.
For puffy eyes, use a cold frozen spoon and rest them on your eyelids. This is the cheapest way to do it. ( courtesy of my girlfriend)

putting some ice (3 cubes) wrapped in a towel or some tissue papers. and put them over ur eye till all the ice melts. it should get better. eye make up stays on best with a foundation base.
