I asked this early but not many people helped me.
I need help with a non smoking ad by you saying what your favorite solgan is from the following two...I also need some ideas for a picture for it too.
1. Get a grip. Skip the Dip
or
2. Smart folk, don't smoke.

i think you should have the slogan as "up in smoke" the saying up in smoke is allways associated with things going terribly wrong or something bad! these are all things that can be reccognised with smoking. You could have a picture of a ciggarette in an ash-tray and the words "up in smoke" made out of the smoke coming from the ciggarette. above the image of the ciggarette you could have a sentance like "want your life to end..."
with this you have effectivly added two slogans within the one that people can read "want your life to end?" and "want your life to end up in smoke"
___if making the words "up in smoke" out of the smoke is too dificult, you could have the smoke coming off the ciggarette as a question mark!

What is the percentage of people who chew versus smoke. Smart folk seems to apply to most, but the Get a grip slogan sounds better.
But the get a grip slogan can be of a person turning down Skoal for Big League chewing gum. That seems easier to do that than choice #2.
I choose #1.

how about dont smoke or youll croak! (and number 2 is nice ;-) )
or instead of a slogan, if u can, perform a skit! thats what me and my friends had 2 do. we did the three kings. "We three kings of Orientar tried 2 smoke a smelly cigar!" and then we all fell over choking and dying...we kind of copied it from "horrible harry" tho (its a book series) good luck!!!! :-)

#1 only makes sense with chewing tobacco, so I pick #2.
For an ad, you can have Borat with a cigarette. It's timely and there are so many pictures of that idiot that you could use and crop in a cigarette.
