I'm planning to play high school football next year for my senior year and I need a good workout to get in shape.

sprints, lift weights if can, eat healthy, whatever stretches you did in football (if you want to).... just about anything.... just don't hurt yourself in the process.... don't work TOO hard....

My best advice for you is to work hard and perform very well in practice every day. In addition, what you need to do during the next 8 months is eat healthy, exercise by doing weight lifting, and either jogging or going for a long run every day. If you do these things, you will get faster, stronger, and into better shape, which will greatly improve your chances of making it on your football team next season.

A lot depends on which position you play. If you are a lineman, you will want to have a weightlifting program. If you are a receiver, bulking up by weightlifting may slow you down. Best advice is to talk to your coach. I'm sure he will be more than happy to give you an offseason workout plan.
