Nope. Just about any engine may have the capability to hit 120, but many cars have governors on the trannys and you can't get it much over that.
My Cavailiers had them set at 107 and 115 respectively. I was told by a trans shop that there wasn't any way to bypass this without replacing the transmission. I don't know if that part was true or not, but that's what I was told.

most cars with computerized engine management will shut down just over 100 mph. my 2004 Pontiac goes out like a light at 106. if I had bought the supercharged V-6 that would 130 and quit.

as a matter of fact most of the cars built now will go the fast or more,its not safe though to drive like that speed kills,its an old saying but very true,,so don't go out an do it OK,,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

on newer cars the top end is set by the factory,it is programed into the engine computer

I HAVE 99 AUDI A8. I GET IT TO 130 AND THAT IS THE MAX. BECAUSE IT IS CONTROLED BY THE CAR'S ECU.
