this has got to be one of the stupidest words/phrase to have been used in the last few years. The fact that the media and people in general use it does not take away from its stupidity, yes me included, do we as a society really want to have helped contribute this term?
Or is this just part of the direction the American language is taking? This is definitely the decline of western civilization, not punk rock or heavy metal...

It is the stupidest thing - in a long time. I would hate to be know only by half my name and half my husbands name.
What really upsets me is what idiots Tom Cruise and Katy Holmes have become. That Tom used to be so respected and now he is just a wacko!!!!!
You could not pay me enough to go see one of his movies now.

It's a cute way the media started referring to celeb couples, so they don't have to print the full names...
Go to www.pinkisthenewblog.com for ALL KINDS of equally stupid couple-name-combinations. I personally enjoy the Lance Bass and partner combo name...Can't remember it now but it's funny. The author of the site recognizes the stupidness of the fad, and that's why the names he comes up with are funny. Enjoy!

I thought "hmmm, how queer" the first time I heard it (I was getting sick of Bennifer and Brangelina), but now I think it's kinda cute.
Esp since he's a lil' guy and she's almost an amazon, it kinda makes their "relationship" (and please do the air quotes),rather "adorable" and "cute".
