If you read a book more than once, then you can count that as many times as you have read it.

I would think that I have read in the department of 500 books (I mean full novels, not Green Eggs and Ham, lol) and I'm 31 years old.

I'd say about 800-1000 if you count re-reading. I am 33.

Quite honestly, I can't even guess at how many books I've read over my lifetime. I read a lot, and have read some books more than 5 times, including the Bible (which I will continue to re-read as long as I live). The first book I read by myself was called The Gingerbread Man (remember that?), when I was about 6 years old. I used to have over 200 horse stories, and read many of them 5 times or more. So, I would think that maybe somewhere in the neighborhood of 2,000 or more books...and counting (I'm halfway through one book that I've read at least 4 times). And to give you a hint at how old I am...I'm 10 years older than Jack Benny used to claim he was. <*)))><

Well I have already read more then 100 books and I'm only 17. I would say that I can read about another 500-700 books. I love to read.

Atleast 700 with re-reads i'm guessing, i'm 17. But I've had a high reading level since I was little and started reading early and always loved going to the library and so that's what i've always loved doing. I've been collecting all my books since I was 9, and yes actual books/novels. Not kiddy books ones in the adult section.

I'M OLD ENOUGH AND I'VE READ ALOT OF BOOKS AND SOME MORE THAN ONCE. HAVE NO IDEA OF THE NO. SOMETIMES 1 A DAY AND OTHER TIMES 1 A WEEK. DEPENDS ON THE SIZE OF THE BOOK. I'D SAY AT LEAST 500.

I used to read 7 novels a week when I was 7. That was 24 years ago. So I would say a lot.

As far as full novels, i'd have to say in the department of around 200 (some of them two or three times) and i'm 23 years old.

I was born in 1960 so that makes me about 21, I think.
It would have to be somewhere around that number too.
I always have one or more that I'm reading. Right now I'm in the middle of The Bad Place by Dean Koontz and The Legacy of the Blues (and I'm not especially a fan of Blues music)

I'm nearly 48 and have been reading at least a book a week since I was 8, usually I have three going at any given time. I'd say a minimum of 6,000. I'd better get moving, there are an awful lot left, aren't there?!? ; )

I am 46, and I can't even come up with a ball park of how many I have read. I read more in the summer, an not so much now with the holidays coming up, and I read more now than i did 10 years ago. good question though. It actually made me think.
