If you were to bother reading your pill information pamplet, you would discover that it is indeed normal or at least okay to miss one period occasionally while taking hormonal contraceptives but, you should visit your doctor if you miss two periods in a row. This does not refer only to pregnancy but, other situations so, even though you are not sexually active at this time, you need to see your doctor about your missing period.

I had the same problem.
How's your stress level? That can have a HUGE impact on hormones.
How's your sleep been lately? Not enough sleep effects many things in your body.
You should go to your doctor if this persists for more than 2 months. Have your hormones and sugar tested, as well as anything else your doctor might want to check. There might be something a little off that your doctor can tell you about, and fix.
Also: Don't worry about it so much. That may be half the problem, your obsessing, and stressing yourself out.
Good Luck!

you didn't specify if you were still on the pill or not ... if not, yes it is very normal to miss a period or two ... you body had been controlled by a hormone pill and now needs time to adjust without it. As you stated, you have not been with anyone so you do not need to worry about pregnancy. Just give your body some time to adjust. If you still remain concerned, make an appt with your doc or obgyn.

Have you lost weight recently? If so your pills may be too strong for you.
I was on the pill for years and rarely had a period. If i did it was light and lasted 3 days max.
If you don't have any other problems, you could call and ask a nurse and see if they want you to go in. In the meantime, I'd just enjoy it!!!

This is a really specific question so I don't know if that's considered normal or not. Anytime something unusual happens with your cycle, especially if you're on birth control, you should see a doctor.

i personaly would go and visit the doctor. just because birth control pills normally make you more regualar with your period. so i recon it would be best just to make sure its nothing serious!
Good luck

Yes, you are messing with your birth canal, basically in short, yes, it is normal, and it'dbe normal if it were longer.
And just if you are very worried, take a pregnancy test, but birth control, can cause you from anywhere from shortened periods to skipped months upon months.
