My last period was on Sept. 24th. I have having some syptoms like naseua, tiredned, sore breats here and there. I have took 9 hpt and all negative(the last one was Monday). With my son the urine test at the Dr.'s was negative, then a week later the blood test was postive and I was 6 weeks pregnant. If I am pregnant why hasn't it showed up yet???? Could it be like with my son, that I don't have enough of the hCG horomones for it to show up in a hpt test??? If I am not pregnant then why hasn't my period came yet when they are very regular??? Thanks for all opinions.......

That's weird. You would be almost 8 wks pregnant. http://www.intmed.mcw.edu/clincalc/pregnancy.html I would think you would have enough HCG by now to be picked up from a HPT. Is it possible your dates are wrong? Perhaps you ovulated later from stress or illness? If that's the case then you might only be barely 4 wks pg...which could be why a test hasn't detected the HCG levels yet. This has happened to a friend of mine where something flukey happened with her periods. Also, were the 9 tests you bought all the same, from the same store? I had problems with tests I bought at a local drugstore. So, I went to another store...bought a 2 pack, both positive and clear to read....nothing iffy. Tests do get old. I actually had an old test I gave to a neighbor....the test did not have an expiration date. It was negative, she was pregnant. Whatever is going on, at least you have an appt on Monday. Ask them to take another urine. I think the blood test takes 24 hours. GOOD LUCK!!

What does the 42 mean for your I.D. name? Is it your age? If so then it could be ending stage of menopause? You can start menopause at the age of thirty five! Alot of people don't realize this, but it is true! Why haven't you went to a doctor about this home pregnancy test aren't always accurate! If you haven't had a period that long and you are pregnant, but even a professional pregnancy test shows negative they can still do a sonogram and see if you are carrying. You need to see a Doctor right away about this. You should have seen one over a month ago.

My daughter in law had the same problem, but she went through about 6 pregnancy test and two blood test before she finally got a positive on a pee test. I don't know what causes this, but in a week or two you will probably get a positive reading. Good luck.

honestly it could be a number of things. i was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome before i became pregnant. you get all the symptoms of pregnancy sometimes too. and i had periods that would come and go as they pleased.. i think the longest i went without one was for 27 weeks lol not that i had a problem with that or anything that's for sure! i would def. call your doctor and make an appointment though to get checked out. your hormones could be off ballence as well.. better be safe than sorry and get a check up :) good luck!

it is possible that this case could be like your sons and not showing up. i would go to the Dr. to be checked out to make sure there is nothing wrong if the blood test comes back negative also. i wish you the best.

Did your md tell you why it did not show up on your urine test?? Maybe you need the blood test to confirm it- you must be an exception to the rule- got to md for blood test-D
