1024 MB in a gig roughly...
1000 is what people refer to it as...
4.4 GB = 4505.6 MB Exact Which if rounded is 4506 MB
4.4 gigs = 4,400 MB
When people say they have a gig of ram, they are thinking 1000, but actually it is rounded because there is no perfect measurement for ram or gigs...
WARNING IF THIS IS A QUESTION FOR SCHOOL, the correct answer is 1024 MB in a GB
1024 is how much a gig really is... But when people say 1 gig, they are reffering to 1024 MB....

4,400 megabytes. It's an approximate number depending on what you're measuring. Hard disks seems to measure megabytes in multiples of 1000 however a megabyte is really 1024k.
