Im looking for the name of a movie, its main character is a little boy and their are aliens in the desert and they infect people through the back of their necks, so anyone with a bandaid on the back of their neck was bad? If anyone knows the name of this movie, let me know. THANK YOU

OMG, I totally remember that movie! I saw it at the drive in! Now it's going to bug me. I have to figure out what that was too!
EDIT: I got it! It was called Invaders from Mars. It was made in 1986 and was a remake of a 1953 movie. It scared the hell out of me when I saw it.

The movie you're looking for is called Invaders from Mars--released in 1953, it stars Jimmy Hunt as the boy who's trying desperately to convince the adults around him that we're being invaded. An early sci-fi color film, it's got some creepy moments, some weird-looking, apparently tin-foil-clad aliens, and a tentacle-headed alien leader in a glass dome. Neat stuff!

It's the 1953 version of "Invaders from Mars." It features whirlpools in the sand that suck people under the desert, as well as a couple of aliens carrying around a glass ball with their leader's swolen head in it - and of course a prop man who put the same size and brand of band-aid on everybody.

I want to say "invasion from Mars" but i'm not sure. I know the movie and I know that the teacher was played by Karen Black. At the end of the movie the kid wakes up and you think its a dream until he sees some lights outside his window.
