Hi,
Which technology GSM or CDMA is used in Ethiopia? Whether a normal GSM handset which I use in India, can be used in Ethiopia as well?
Whether the mobile service providers are govt-owned or private?

There is 1 mobile phone operator it is called "ETHMTN", it is GSM & owned by the Ethiopian telecommunications corporation, it is a state owned company.
