I have selected to remove this entry from the printers list but it's still there with a status of "deleting".

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Try Control Panel; Printers and Other Hardware; When you right click on the Printer icon, it should give you the option of deleting. Good luck.

This issue occurs mostly when there are pending documents in the Printer driver.
Steps to fix this issue:
1) Restart your computer
2) Open the folder C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS (or) C:\WINNT\system32\spool\PRINTERS
3) Delete the files that you see in this folders
4) Open your Printers & Faxes folder, Right click on the printer icon and click on DELETE.
5) Now the printer is removed.

Cheers!!!
