Fiction is my favorite. I LOVE anything by Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Christopher Pike, and Ray Bradbury! I like a lot of others too, but these guys are my favorites!

I majored in English literature when I was in University.
Basically I love the classics - novels and short stories. I also have read all of Shakespeare's plays. I find that the classics have depth that sometimes you cannot find anywhere else.
My goal is to read all the great classics before I die - by classics I don't mean just English literature - I mean all literature in any language as long as it has been translated into English.
Currently, I am reading The Red and the Black, which is a political and psychological French novel. I'm not sure what I even think about it because I am really at the beginning of this novel, but I have a feeling I will learn a lot from it.

If you like fantasy and haven't tried Terry Brooks works, you have been missing out. The"Shannarra" series in particular, but also the "Magic Kingdom For Sale",and "Running With The Demon" series. The MKFS was 5 books ,RWTD was 3 books .The Shannarra series is at least 10 books. Start with,"The Sword of Shannarra". David Eddings also has about a 10 book series that is great reading.

I like sci-fi and horror and thrillers that grab your attention from the very beginning. I've read alot of stuff by H.G. Wells, Issac Asimov, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Clive Barker, Jules Verne, and lately I've been reading some of Harlan Coben, a good writer who has a knack for keeping readers glued to his books ("One Last Look").

Non-fiction. I like to understand life and people as much as I can. Sometimes I'll read a paragraph, and it will contain a revelation for me.
