Thanksgiving Dinner is a time when I insist on cooking diner and doing all the clean up. All the ladies in our house and who attend the diner will be doing nothing but relaxing Thanksgiving day and just enjoying everything. But Thanksgiving day is not the only time that I cook and clean, but is the time that I absolutely INSIST on it. And I'm not a husband...but a soul mate.

This question was obviously aimed at women but I wanted to add my 2 cents.
When my grandparents have Thanksgiving dinner at their house my grandfather is the one who does all the cooking. It's pretty good too. I just think that's so cool considering that most men don't or can't cook. Plus, most men that are over 50 always seem to think that it's the woman's job to do the cooking. So I think it's awesome for a man who is in his 80's to cook the entire Thanksgiving dinner.

We usually go to his parents for Thanksgiving and most of the time he just sits in the living room while we do dishes and clean up the mess. I think it's just because he's at his mommies house and he's use to being catered to. When we're at home, he is usually a big help.

My husband is helpful with every gathering we have here at home. You know, he is a quiet type and that bugs me at times, but when I read questions like this or see how some other husbands act, I know I found a winner. He is the best.

Well, my husband is a loser I left a decade ago.Lol. Seriously, though, my mom and I cook a huge meal for everyone and my dad sits back and enjoys it all. He works very hard all year and holidays make him feel special, so we don't mind.
