It depends on what type of games you like. Personally, I love horror games like the Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Fatal Frame series (the best Fatal Frame game was Crimson Butterfly). Actually, RE 4 was more of a action game, but still great. Devil May Cry was good, but I've only played the first in the series so I don't know about the rest. For RPGs, Parasite Eve 1 & 2 , Xenogears, Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2, Lunar SSS, Persona, Final Fantasy series, and Suikoden 1 & 2 are great games. You also can't go wrong with the Castlevania series.

if u are above 16 yrs old, u should buy Gods of War(although im not above 16, but i still play), or Midnight Club 3:DUB Edition REMIX, both for PS2

halo 2, metal gear solid (1,2,or 3 there all good), resident evil 4,
any final fantasy,ninty nine nights, dead or alive 4, legend of zelda wind waker (or the new one, i can't wait).
