If you were arrested and turned out/released with no money or funds or family or friends to help you would be homeless. If you were on probation you could at least ask them for help. YOu could hardly be expected to go to meetings wiht them without employment or a place to live.
Usually long term felons in prispon are given a few bucks upon release to get them back home. However if you ar eon a country prison farm or city prison and do time and get released you only get what they arrested you with. You could go hungry until you got a job.Prison is releasing homeless people everday.
I know a of a guy who was working on a roofing job once fla. His roofing knife hoster (holder) broke, so he put his roofing knife in his pocket. It being friday night he went to a bar to have a few drinks and was stopped and arrested later by city cops who kept a regular watch for construction workers or other easy targets to rip off. He was charged with public drunkness and carrying a conceiled weapon, and given 6 months.
This guy was released with nothing, no money (his own money kept by the law)no food, no job, no transportation, no family, no home, no where to go but walking the streets as a homeless.
Personally I would have spent soem more time in jail after finding the cop and judge.
He was run out of town and spent several months living in the woods and walking to town every day asking for any work until he got enough to buy clothes, and a room and eventually a place to live and transportation.
All this because a trashy cop wanted to make a bust and a nothing judge did not care.
YOu could only make money in this situation by getting soem kind of job fast and working like crazy until you acculated soem kind of savings. YOu might could work temporary services, or day labour or find somethjing in construction short term. but if you had nothing to wear but what they let you out of jail in you may vey well become one of those you see on the road asking for food.
you could end up begging. or stealing.

you know. there are people out there that either don't do background checks or they look the other way depending on the reason you were arrested.

i think it must be really hard to get a job if you've done a felony because they ask that on the job applications, right?
well if you're doing physical labor, a lot of them don't care.... or you can be a cook
