If they are your true friends , then they will always be there. I am sure they understand that you are working. I stay so busy myself that I don't have or rather make the time for my best friend but every once in a while I will send a good tear jerking card or email letting her know I am sorry and I miss her. It helps us both to know that we are still friends there for each other. My best advice though is take the time for your friends and family now because they are more important than money, you never know when you won't see someone again, losing a days pay is so worth the memories you can make that last a life time. Good luck.

Call them, text them, see them when you can! It has worked with many of my friends as work and uni schedules have worked to keep things confused.
I have some friends I see weekly, others about twice a week, some nearly daily, and others now at a distance, only once a fortnight or two. Heck, when one mate shows up every few months, he is a welcome site.
Friendship is more than physical presence, but only a few years ago, I would not have believed it true.

Do you still call them? Text them? E-mail them?
This is how life works out, you grow up & lose contact with your friends. Since having children I hardly see any of my friends & it saddens me but that's life, they work & I have children that keep me very busy!
Call your friend, maybe she doesn't call you because she thinks your night work leaves you too tired for her. Arrange to meet up, just keep in contact, that's the only thing you can do! Good luck x

Your not use to the new hours and your feeling isolated which is understandable... what about your days off... and I also have picked up on a little more than friendship...when you speak of this girl friend... and with you on the nighshift you feel someone might step in and take your place... I suggest you be trueful about how you feel to this girl... might be worth your while... relax!!!

book a night off work and arrange to meet them all, then if you feel like you really have been missing out and want to see more of them, quit your job and go and enjy yourself, whats the point in earning money if you are not enjoying spending it with your friends.

I think quite possibly you should ask her out- I know people can have platonic relationships but I pick up she means more? Could be wrong it is 5am! Send them all an invitation e-mail and go out together for a catch up.
Good luck x
