the big structures there, that can cause disability, are femoral vein, artery and nerve. damage to the nerve can cause loss of power or sensation in the leg. damage to the artery and vein can cause circulation problems, if you have been traumatised in the groin repeatedly and have any symptoms in the same leg, then you do want to see a doctor asap, good luck
