why does the mainstream media and pop culture seem to have so much animocity towards christianity, but not any other religion?

because the media is largely controlled by the US. Now we all know the the US media is mostly left-wing liberals. Christianity is the dominate religion in the US so viola, the media concentrates their efforts against christianity

Mostly it is because the Christians keep silent when being attacked and the Muslims don't. So the "un-bias" media can have a field day with them.

Other religions aren't controlling the media, attempting to subvert the Constitution, demanding special consideration in government matters, knocking on my door, forcing their agenda on those that aren't interested in their fairy tales, filling our jails, prisons and asylums and constantly attacking American institutions and principles.
